Easter

FIRST YEAR PRIMARY SCHOOL:

MARÍA TENÍA UN CORDERO

VERSIÓN DEL CBM «SAN JOSÉ DE CALASANZ» DE ALQUERÍAS:

María tenía un cordero,
un cordero, un cordero,
María tenía un cordero.
Su lana era como la nieve.

Y a donde sea que fuera María.
Que fuera María, que fuera María.
Y a donde sea que fuera María.
El cordero la seguía.

La siguió a la escuela un día,
Escuela un día, escuela un día,
La siguió a la escuela un día.
Que iba contra las reglas.

Hizo reír y jugar a los niños,
reír y jugar, reír y jugar.
Hizo reír y jugar a los niños,
Al ver al cordero en la escuela.

Y el maestro lo echó fuera,
Lo echó fuera, lo echó fuera.
Y el maestro lo echó fuera.
Pero se quedó muy cerca.

María tenía un cordero
un cordero, un cordero
María tenía un cordero
Su lana era como la nieve.

……………………………..

Esperó paciente allí
paciente, allí
paciente, allí
Esperó paciente  allí
Hasta que María llegó.

María tenía un cordero,
un cordero, un cordero,
María tenía un cordero.
Su lana era como la nieve.

MARY HAD A LITTLE LAMB

VERSIÓN DEL CBM «SAN JOSÉ DE CALASANZ» DE ALQUERÍAS:

  1. Mary had a little lamb,

Little lamb, little lamb,

Mary had a little lamb,

Its fleece was white as snow.

  1. And everywhere that Mary went,

Mary went, Mary went,

Everywhere that Mary went,

The lamb was sure to go.

  1. It followed her to school one day,

School one day, school one day,

It followed her to school one day,

That was against the rule.

  1. It made the children laugh and play,

Laugh and play, laugh and play,

It made the children laugh and play

To see a lamb at school.

  1. And so the teacher turned it out,

Turned it out, turned it out,

And so the teacher turned it out,

But still it lingered near.

  1. And waited patiently about,

Patiently about, patiently about,

And waited patiently about,

Till Mary did appear.

  1. «Why does the lamb love Mary so?

Mary so? Mary so?

Why does the lamb love Mary so?»

The eager children cry.

  1. «Why, Mary loves the lamb, you know,

The lamb, you know, the lamb, you know!

Why, Mary loves the lamb, you know.»

The teacher did reply.

Easter Bunny Songs for Children

Easter Bunny
Looking kind of funny
With your basket of eggs
Children singing
‘What’s the bunny bringing
For me on Easter Day?»

Mom is cooking
While we’re out there looking
For the eggs hidden away
After church we
Gathered ‘round with family
On this Easter Day

Two thousand years ago
Jesus died for our sins
Remember his resurrection
And the joy it brings

Flowers blooming
Springtime’s looming
Everything is coming alive
Easter colors
Yellow, blue and others
Tell us Spring has arrived

Children are playing
And everybody’s saying
«So good to see you today!»
We’re all together
The merrier the better
On this Easter holiday

Two thousand years ago
Jesus died for our sins
Remember his resurrection
And the joy it brings

Flowers are blooming
& Springtime’s looming
Oh what a wonderful day
We’re all together
The more of us the better
On this Easter holiday
A lovely Easter holiday
I like my Easter holiday

SPRING TIME IS HERE by Cbeebies

springSpringtime is here, it’s the start of year,
Nature’s waking up from her rest.
Lambs jumping around – new buds on the ground,
Baby birds in the nest.
The snow is melting away; it’s getting lighter each day,
Spring flowers everywhere.
It’s a wonderful thing – everybody sing:
It’s springtime in the air!

Oh – oh – oh – it’s the springtime.
( it’s the springtime )
Oh – oh – oh feel the sunshine.
Oh – Oh – the rainbow colours everywhere.
Springtime’s in the air, (the air), the air, (the air), the air, (the air) the air, (the air).

In the parks and the meadows daffodils are yellow,
April showers splash to the ground.
Baby ducks with their mummy, swimming on their tummy,
It’s springtime all around.
Now – jump up and down and turn all around,
And tell me what can you see.
Can you see the new beginnings? It’s such a happy feeling,
It’s there for you and me!

Oh – oh – oh – it’s the springtime.
( it’s the springtime )
Oh – oh – oh feel the sunshine.
Oh – Oh – the rainbow colours everywhere.
Springtime’s in the air, in the air, in the air!
